How to Create Pagekit From Sections and Full Pages for Elementor or Gutenberg?

If you want to take your website design to the next level and create a cohesive collection of templates, the Pagekit feature in the WDesignKit app is here to help. With Pagekit, you can combine your existing sections and full page templates created with Elementor or Gutenberg into a kit.

Pagekit allows you to create a custom package of templates that can be easily applied to different pages throughout your website. It provides a convenient way to group and manage your templates, making it effortless to maintain consistency and style across your site.

To create a pagekit or website kit, you must have an account on the WDesignKit website.

Note: In order to create a pagekit or or website kit, you must have some page or section templates in your My Templates page.

Once you are logged into your WDesignKit account, from the Dashboard, go to My Templates > Create New Kit.

You’ll see a Add New Kit form, here, you’ll have to add your pagekit details.

Title – Here, you’ll have to add your pagekit title.

Short Introduction – This is an optional field, here, you can add a short introduction of your pagekit.

Description – This is an optional field, here, you can add a description of your pagekit.

Feature – This is an optional field, here, you can add features of your kit.

Live Demo URL – This is an optional field, here, you can add the live pagekit demo URL.

Elementor Version URL (Optional) – This is an optional field, here, you can add the pagekit’s Elementor version demo URL.

Gutenberg Version URL (Optional) – This is an optional field, here, you can add the pagekit’s Gutenberg version demo URL.

Figma Version URL (Optional) – This is an optional field, here, you can add the pagekit’s Figma file URL.

From the Summary tab, you can set your pagekit visibility from the Visibility dropdown. Here you’ll find two options – 

Private – This will make your pagekit private. In this mode, only you can access your pagekit. You can also share your private pagekit or website kit privately through your workspace. Learn more.

Public – This will make your pagekit public. In this mode, all other WDesignKit users can access your pagekit.

Note: By default, the visibility will be set to private.

From the Date field, you can select a publish date for your pagekit.

Note: If no date is selected, the current date will be added.

Then under the Manage tab, you can select the used page builder of your pagekit from the Page Builder dropdown.

Note: By default, Elementor will be selected.

Select Elementor if you’ve created the templates with Elementor page builder or select Gutenberg if you’ve created the templates with WordPress editor.

From the Plugin List section, select the required plugins for the templates.

Note: The plugin list will change based on the page builder selected.

Then from the Section dropdown, you can add your section templates to the pagekit.

In the Page dropdown, you’ll find your full page templates, you can add them to your pagekit.

Note: Only page builder related Section and Page templates will be available. If you select Elementor as the page builder then only Elementor related templates will be visible and same for Gutenberg page builder. 

From the Category dropdown, you can select the categories for your pagekit.

Similarly, you can select the tags for your pagekit from the Tags dropdown.

From the Featured Image tab, you can add an image for your pagekit.

Once done then, click on the Save button, and your pagekit will be published.

Then you’ll be redirected to My Uploaded page, where you can see all your saved templates, including your pagekit.

From the WDesignKit plugin page, go to My Templates and then click on the Kits tab. Here you’ll find your pagekit.

You can click on the pagekit name it will take you to the pagekit/website kit’s single page on the WDesignKit website, where you’ll be able to see your template with all the details.
